“If I can give a sliver of hope for one person, it will be
worth it. Education may be the only opportunity to change things
around.”
- Julie Aspinwall-Lamberts
Former employees continue commitment and love for Lane
Julie Aspinwall-Lamberts worked at Lane from 1974-95, first as
program evaluator and then as director of research and planning.
She believes in the power of Lane to transform lives, and is committed
to helping women from abusive situations reach their educational
goals.
Jim Ellison worked at Lane for 28 years and was vice president
of instruction from 1989 -1995. He helped create the academic learning
skills department and the faculty union. Concerned about the rising
cost of education, he says, “Scholarships are more important
then ever.”
Julie and Jim plan to live to be 100. They make annual gifts to
Lane and have established endowments as part of their estate plans.
To make a gift to the Foundation now, click
here or contact us at (541) 463-5226 or foundation@lanecc.edu.
A planned gift today can benefit Lane tomorrow.
Please remember the Lane Foundation in your will.
Every gift makes a difference and brings our students closer to
achieving their dreams.
Thank you for making a difference!
