Janet Anderson - Foundation Director

Janet Anderson

Janet Anderson, a former athletic trainer at Lane, has returned to the college as the Director of the Lane Foundation. Anderson worked with Lane's sports teams from 1980 - 1987. During that time she organized an international track and field exchange between Northwest community colleges and the former Soviet Union.

After leaving Lane, Anderson became the co-director of Womenspace, a program helping victims of domestic violence. For the past 11 years, she worked at United Way of Lane County with its Leadership Giving program and annual campaign.

"I love Lane and I am honored to be here. Lane's commitment to students, to learning, and to academic excellence is central to what we do. The bottom line is... we change lives forever, for the better. My job is finding our best friends in the community, telling the Lane story and giving people an opportunity to invest in our future," she says.
