Carol Schaafsma

Biography

Carol Schaafsma is currently the Executive Vice President, Academic Affairs and Workforce Development, Linn-Benton Community College.  Carol has worked at community colleges in Oregon for over 25 years.  She has held a variety of positions including classified staff, part-time faculty, faculty and management positions.  She has been adjunct faculty with the OSU Community College Leadership doctoral program where she taught Instructional Leadership.  Carol has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from Ashland College in Ohio and a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from the University of Oregon.  Carol has extensive experience facilitating training and group processes in corporate and academic environments.
