Sonya Christian
Biography
Sonya has been at Lane Community College since January, 2003. She came to Lane as the Associate Vice President for Academic and Student Services. Since 2005m Sonya has held the position as Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. Prior to joining Lane, she was a Dean of Student Learning at Bakersfield College, in Bakersfield, CA, and before that, faculty in the mathematics department. Sonya earned her doctorate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA); master's in Devmathematics from the University of Southern California (USC), and an undergraduate degree in math from the University of Kerala, India.
