Dr. Hal Sadofsky
Biography
Dr. Hal Sadofsky has a Bachelors degree in mathematics and in music from University of Rochester in 1984. He went on to receive a Masters degree in mathematics from Cambridge University in 1985 and a Ph.D. in mathematics from M.I.T. in 1990. Dr. Sadofsky did postdoctoral work in mathematics at Johns Hopkins University and Northwestern University and has been on the faculty of the University of Oregon since 1995. Dr. Sadofsky served for 5 years as the Head of Undergraduate Studies, and has been Mathematics Department Head since 2008.
