web Short version of World Wide Web. The current convention is to capitalize "web" but not "webpage," and we just think that's silly, so we're consistent and don't capitalize either version.
webpage One word is preferable since there is definitely a trend for ubiquitous two-word computer terms to morph into one word.
website One word is preferable, and in two years the convention will probably be one word.
white space For printed publications and webpages, white space is essential to readability and making readers comfortable. For webpages, advertising and brochures, at least 20 percent of the layout should be white (blank) space. Rather than using webpages as file drawers to be filled to capacity, think of them as rooms where there should be some space to move around.
Windows Capitalize when referring to a computer operating system since it is a proprietary name.
