Foundation of the National Student Nurses’ Association

Touchmark Foundation Scholarships

Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship

Career Mobility Scholarship Award

  • Available to students in LPN-to-RN, RN-to-BSN, RN-to-MSN, BSN-to-MSN or MSN-to-doctorate programs. Must be a member of AMSN for at least one year.

StraightForward Media Medical Scholarship

  • For students going into the medical field. $500

StraightForward Media Nursing Scholarship

  • For students going to nursing school. $500 Nursing Scholarship

Cascades East AHEC Nursing Scholarship

  • The Cascades East AHEC Nursing Scholarship has been established to assist a rural or financially disadvantaged high school senior who wishes to pursue a career in nursing.

National Black Nurses Association Scholarship Program

  • Scholarship available for African American students pursuing a career in nursing.

Oregon Medical Education Foundation Scholarship

  • Three scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each; high school senior; a student enrolled in an institution of higher learning whose undergraduate pursuit is a pre-medicine, pre-nursing or nursing degree; and a student currently enrolled in a medical or nursing program.

National Nursing Scholarship

  • A common knowledge quiz. Winner receives a scholarship.

CampusRN Scholarship Program

  • Six $2500 regional scholarships.

Consonus Healthcare Services Scholarship

  • Currently employed or seeking to be employed in the long term care profession as an Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Speech Language Pathologist, Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician.

Margaret Murphy Carley Scholarship

  • Be a certified nursing assistant currently working in the field of long term care and seeking an LPN, RN, advanced nursing degree, or be enrolled in another health care related degree program, including health administration.

 Saidie Orr Dunbar Nursing Education Fund

  • Graduate level nursing scholarship for students who plan on practicing in Oregon upon graduation; emphasis given to community health nursing.  The award ranges from $1000-$5000.

PHOTOGRAPHY SCHOLARSHIPS
Worldstudio AIGA scholarships

  • Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships benefit minority and economically disadvantaged students who are studying art and design disciplines in colleges and universities in the United States.

National Press Photographers Association

  • Applicant must submit a portfolio: Six pictures (one a story, plus five singles). For picture editors: three unmounted tear sheets.

Studio Art Centers International

  • Submit a CD or set of twenty labeled slides (name, medium, size, date) presented in a slide portfolio sleeve. The images should be of current work and should illustrate proficiency in the area of specialization. Students seeking scholarships in non-studio study must submit at least two art history writing samples.

Milotte Scholarship Fund

  • Applicant must have 2 letters of reference and have samples of work expressing observations of the natural world. This work may be either written or visual. 

Worldnomads.com Travel Scholarships

  • Applicant must shoot a series of one or more strangers and make it a story in a portfolio, and add captions to each to tell the story.

UO Department of Political Science Scholarships

  • A wide variety of scholarships are offered through this site with different qualifications for each.

 The Phillips Foundation Scholarships

  • Applicants must be in “Good Standing” at an accredited college and should be in their sophomore year.

 National Association for Campus Activities Scholarships

  • The NACA Foundation offers numerous scholarships that are available to graduate students, undergraduate student leaders and associate members on an annual basis.

 Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation

  • The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 in funding to students pursuing graduate degrees in public service fields.  Students must be college juniors at the time of selection.

 Public Service Scholarship Program for College Students with Disabilities

  • Applicant must be a person with a disability by ADA standards, provide a letter of reference by a disability services office, and submit an application.

Dr. Frank Vattano Psychology Scholarship

  • Student must volunteer or demonstrate community service, and must submit letters of recommendation, an essay, an application, and may have to interview.  The award can be used for tuition costs, housing, or books.

Dr. A. Wayne Viney Psychology Scholarship
