 Praxair International Scholarship

  • Must have a high school diploma, maintain or have at least a 2.5 GPA, demonstrated leadership abilities through clubs, organizations, extra-curricular academic activities, and community involvement, and priority may be given to those with financial need.

Douglas Timber Operators Scholarship

  • Scholarship information is updated on the site when available with their qualifications.

 Oregon Logging Conference Scholarship

  • Please See a Career Employment Advisor or Student Services Associate for a copy of Application.

 International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation Scholarship

  • Eligibility requires applicant to have at least three years volunteer or two years paid or a combination of paid and volunteer of three years with a state, county, provincial, municipal, community, industrial, or federal fire department.

 Jean Davis Memorial Scholarship

  • Available to all students attending college in Oregon. Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students that have two letters of recommendation, a letter of intent, and must maintain full-time enrollment in specific field.

GRAPHIC DESIGN SCHOLARSHIPS
SeoBook Scholarship

  • Student must submit their design to this website and currently attending a post-secondary institution.  The winner must allow the site list your name, picture, and website on this page.

National Organization for Women Poster Contest

  • Available to female students that create a poster that may be used as part of a national campaign to challenge the media’s use of violent, drug-addicted, starved, surgically-enhanced images of women and to fight against industries that profit from women’s dissatisfaction with their bodies.

Straightforward Media Vo-Tech Scholarship

  • A $500 scholarship is offered every 3 months.

World Studio Scholarships

  • Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships benefit minority and economically disadvantaged students who are studying the design/arts disciplines in colleges and universities in the United States.

Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation

  • Offered to high school or high school graduates that have not yet attended college and who are enrolled full-time to through a 2 or 4 year college.

Equity Foundation Scholarships

  • Eight scholarships are offered to LGBQT students with various qualifications for each.

 DAR National Society Scholarships

  • Three scholarships are offered through this site with various qualifications for each.

 AOTF Scholarship

  • Applicants must be members of the American Occupational Therapy Association, have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement, 2 personal references.  Over 50 scholarships available on this site if qualifications are met.

 AISES Scholarships

  • Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation:  this scholarship is made available to American Indian high school seniors every year, who reside in states serviced by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation and its affiliated companies (Oregon is included).

 Health Professions Pre-Graduate Scholarship

  • This scholarship offer provides financial support for American Indians to enroll in courses leading to a bachelor degree in specific pre-professional areas (i.e., pre-medicine, pre-dentistry).

 Oregon Health Care Foundation Scholarships

  • Each year OHCF awards approximately 50 General Studies Scholarships, and scholarships for specialized study. Consideration is given to individuals who are seriously exploring or already committed to a career in long term care.

 Carl W. Anderson Scholarship

  • Annual awards for juniors or seniors attending Oregon State University who are majoring in Public Health with an emphasis in medical group administration. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

 Straightforward Media Medical Scholarship

  • For students going into the medical field. $500

 OMEF Linn and Benton Country Medical Societies Scholarship

  • Site updates eligibility for the scholarship when the scholarship is open.

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT SCHOLARSHIPS
NRAEF Al Schuman Ecolab Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Scholarship

  • This scholarship is established to award scholarships to qualified post-secondary students who are committed to furthering their education and enhancing their careers in the restaurant and foodservice industry while demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial commitment.

Coca-Cola Salute to Excellence Scholarship

  • Applicant must submit 2 essays (one at 150-200 words; one at 450-500 words), complete the online application, and enrolled full to substantially part-time in school (9+ credits).

Tourism Cares Scholarship

  • Two different scholarships are offered to students that are studying tourism.

American Society of Travel Agents Scholarships

  • A wide variety of scholarships are offered through this site for those interested in the hospitality industry.

American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation Scholarships

  • AH&LEF has developed one consolidated application form for all scholarships.  Applicants can check the scholarships for which they wish to be considered. 

Isle of Capri Scholarships

  • Site updates when scholarships are available and for the amount given to the award winner.

Mary Macey Scholarship

  • Two $1000 scholarships awarded to students interested in the hospitality industry.

Hispanic College Fund Scholarships

  • Students from all underrepresented groups (women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and individuals from rural and low-income communities) are encouraged to apply.

American Express Scholarship Competition

  • Must be enrolled full or part time. Must be working a minimum of 20 hours per week at a AH&LEF member hotel with at least 12 months' hotel experience OR be a dependent of a qualified employee and have past employment in some capacity in the hospitality industry.

ECOLAB Scholarship Competition Academic Scholarship

  • Application will be evaluated according to: industry-related work experience, financial need, academic record/ educational qualifications, professional, community and extracurricular activities, personal attributes including career goals, and responses to the required essay questions.

NewH- The Industry Network Scholarship

  • Students applying must exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and have completed half the requirements for a degree that will lead to a career in the Hospitality industry. Student must also have at least a 3.0 GPA and already participated in an industry internship.

Stan and Leone Pollard Scholarships

  • Candidate must be re-entering the job market by being enrolled in a travel and tourism curriculum in either a recognized proprietary travel school or a two-year junior college. Two awards of $2000 each will be given.

Princess Cruises and Princess Tours Scholarship

  • Merit-based award for student accepted or enrolled as an undergraduate in a travel or tourism program. Submit 300-word essay on two features cruise ships will need to offer passengers in the next ten years.   Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Nancy Curry Scholarship

  • Available to School Nutrition Association members employed in school foodservice who undertake undergraduate or graduate study at a vocational/technical institution, community college, college or university.

Joe Purdue Club Foundation Scholarship

  • Candidates must provide strong evidence that they are pursuing managerial careers in the private club industry, must have achieved and continue to maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5.

HSMAI Foundation Awards Scholarships

  • For eligibility, students must be enrolled in a hospitality management or related curriculum and pursuing a degree, have demonstrated hospitality work experience, possess an interest in a career in hospitality sales and marketing, and be in good academic standing. 

ECOLAB Scholarship Program

  • For students pursuing an A.A. or B.A. degree in hospitality or hotel management
    on a full-time basis (minimum 12 hours) in the amount of $1000.

 IFSEA Scholarships

  • Three scholarships offered though this site with various qualifications.

 IFEC Communications Scholarship

  • To be eligible, the applicant must have 2 letters of recommendation, in good standing and currently enrolled in a post-secondary education institution, and must show evidence of training, skill and interest in both foodservice and the communication arts.

 Clark E. DeHaven Scholarship

  • A scholarship is awarded up to $5000 for those enrolled in the hospitality field of study.

Indian Health Service Scholarship Program

  • Scholarship program for Native American students.

 Carl A. Scott Memorial Fund

  • $500 book scholarships are awarded each academic year to students who have demonstrated a commitment to work for equity and social justice in social work.
