2009 Harvest Dinner

The Harvest Dinner is a working class room for over 100 Culinary and Hospitality Students.
Scholarship recipients and community members volunteer to help
before, during and after the dinner.

	NAME: April Miotke MAJOR: Flight Technology

	In addition to caring for her own four children while her husband was deployed in Afghanistan, April also was a foster parent for her niece and nephew. Now she is following her dream of becoming a Law Enforcement Helicopter Pilot. When April completes her program at Lane, she will continue her studies at Oregon State University and pursue a dual degree in Aviation Leadership and Adult Education. read more
