The Renaissance Room

Enjoy a fine dining experience for lunch in the student-run restaurant, the Renaissance Room! Located inside the Center Building next to Blender's Espresso, the Renaissance Room is open during fall, winter, and spring terms.

The Renaissance Room menu changes periodically each term and offers local, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine in honor of Lane's Core Value of Sustainability.  A lunch includes a choice of soup or salad, entree, and dessert. 

The Renaissance Room can accommodate private parties of up to 24 with advance reservations.

The Renaissance Room also supports a fantastic Omelet Bar on the main dining area of Campus Food Services!  Students, faculty, and staff enjoy delicious, made-to-order Omelets with a variety of fillings.  Specialty items such as crepes are also available and change daily.  Come watch our Culinary students prepare a quick lunch for you as they practice their kitchen skills!  Exhibition kitchen, indeed!

Renaissance Room Gift Certificates are available for purchase and are good for the entire academic year!  Please contact Wendy Milbrat or ask one of your servers for purchase.

The Renaissance Room will open for fall term 2011 on Monday, October 10th and will be open from 11:30am-12:30pm Mondays-Thursdays.

The Renaissance Room will not be open during the week of Monday, October 24-Thursday, October 27th in preparation and execution for the Lane Foundation Harvest Dinner!

The Renaissance Room will be open during Thanksgiving Week on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22 ONLY.

 Reservations may be made during hours of operation, with the earliest reservation at 11:30 and the latest reservation at 12:30.

The Renaissance Room offers valuable restaurant-frontline training experience for Culinary Arts students for four terms, the fourth term being a supervisory experience for the Second-Year students over their First-Year student peers.
