Fall Term Health Professions Academic Advising Workshop Schedule for October 17th through October 28th, 2011

These workshops are for the following majors:  Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Exercise Movement Science (2 yr. program), Physical Therapist Assistant and Respiratory Care.  If you are a nursing major, please choose a nursing workshop.

Academic and Advance Registration Advising for continuing/returning students will be available at all workshop options. Please review this the Advance Registration website about important dates. To be eligible for Advance Registration you need to be considered a current or returning credit student.

We look forward to seeing you soon.  This schedule is subject to change.

Prior to attending a workshop we request that you review program and advising information for your major at the Academic Advising Resources site. You will be provided the opportunity to enroll. This is a “virtual course” and is free. You will be enrolled for one year and if dropped can re-enroll at any point in time. To access please go to 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu and select Moodle (on menu at left), then choose Academic Advising. Select the resource for your major.

New students to Lane are encouraged to attend a Winter SOAR (Student Orientation Advising & Registration) session. Please go to the Lane home page 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu and choose the link “Steps in Enroll in Credit Classes."

After reviewing the above information please feel free to email specific questions to the listed resource for your major.

Thank you,

Health Professions Advising Team
