  • Must be a Native American with proof of tribal enrollment or a certificate of Indian blood, plan to attend a 4 year college full time, and live in one of the states served by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corp. and its affiliates.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) Scholarships

  • A short list of scholarships.

Ann C. Thornton Memorial Fund Scholarship

  • 4 $1,000 awards will be selected for American Indian students who live in Oregon and who are enrolled (or will be enrolled) in a college or university in the fall. Criteria for selection: the student’s grade point average (GPA), financial need, extracurricular activities in school and in the community, and motivation.

Citizen Potawatomi Nation Tribal Rolls Scholarship

  • The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Tribal Rolls Scholarship program provides its tribal members financial support to offset the cost of attending college and post-high school vocational training.

William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship for Minority Students

  • The Aspen Institute Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation (PSI) offers the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fellowship three times annually.  The fellowship, which is based on academic excellence and need, is open to both undergraduate and graduate students of color.

American Indian Services Scholarship

  • Enrolled in a university, college, junior college or technical school. (1/4) Northern-Native American Indian Blood. Undergraduate student with no more than 150 semester credits or 210 quarter credits. Full-time or part-time status - excluding non-credit courses. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25

The CIRI Foundation Scholarships

  • Scholarships are limited to eligible, qualified and selected Alaska Native beneficiaries of Alaska Natives.

Yakama Nation Higher Education Scholarship

  • Enrolled Yakama Tribal Member high school graduate or GED recipient; full or part time student. $3,000

W.K. Kellogg Fellowship Program in Health Policy Research

  • Must be enrolled at UCLA School of Public Health (or one of six other designated universities) and be committed to working with underserved populations. 

National Medical Fellowship

  • The core program of NMF is the Need-based Scholarships. Offered primarily to first- and second-year medical students

The California Community Service Scholarship Program

  • Applicant must be a third or fourth year student; enrolled at MD degree granting schools in California; an African-American, mainland Puerto Rican, Mexican-American, Native Hawaiian, Alaska Native, or American Indian.

Seneca Nation of Indians Scholarship

  • A short list of scholarships.

Isleta Department of Education Financial Aid

  • Isleta Higher Education is for students who have graduated from High School or who have received their GED. The program provides supplemental funding for students attending post secondary institutions.

StraightForward Media Scholarships for Minorities

  • $500 minority scholarship.

Native American Tuition Waiver

  • Qualified Native American students will be admitted to Fort Lewis College tuition free.

Henry Rodriguez Reclamation Scholarship

  • Member of AISES; U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident: Enrolled as a full time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university; Seeking a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, relating to water resources or an environmentally-related field; Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Health Professions Preparatory Scholarship

  • American Indian/Alaska Native (federal/state recognized); Accepted/enrolled in full or part time compensatory or pre-professional general education course or curriculum identified as a priority within IHS; Capacity to complete course of study; Intend to serve Indian people upon completion of curriculum.

Indian Health Scholarship

  • American Indian/Alaska Native (federally recognized); Accepted or enrolled in a full/part time study program leading to a degree in a health related profession identified as a priority by IHS; Agree to service obligation and pay-back requirements as condition of award; 2.0 GPA required for continued eligibility.

SRP Navajo Generating Station Scholarships

  • Applicants must be enrolled members of the Navajo Nation who will be full-time students at an accredited college or university. Priority will be given to the math, engineering and environmental studies. Recipients must be a junior in college during the time the scholarship is used and must have, and maintain, a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.

Morris K. Udall Scholarship

  • To students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to the environment; or to Native American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to tribal public policy; or to Native American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to Native health care.

DAR National Society Native American Scholarships

  • The American Indians Committee of the DAR awards this scholarship to Native Americans and is intended to help Native American students of any age, any tribe and in any state striving to get an education.

Xerox Foundation Technical Minority Scholarship Program

  • Scholarships are available in the amount $1,000 - $10,000 (depending on tuition balance, academic excellence and classification).

HP Scholar Program

  • The HP Scholar program offers scholarship opportunities to underrepresented minority (African American, Latino, or American Indian) students who will pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering at an HP Scholar partnership university (UCLA, UW, San Jose State, Morgan State, or North Carolina A&T).

Catching the Dream Scholarship

  • CTD's primary focus is to raise funds to provide scholarship funding for high-achieving American Indians in the fields critical to the economic, social, environmental, political, educational, and business development of Indian communities.

American Indian College Fund

  • The American Indian Scholarship Fund's Teacher Training Initiative program is designed to recognize and support outstanding American Indian college students who are majoring in education or training to become certified teachers.

ACS Scholars Scholarship

  • ACS awards renewable scholarships to underrepresented minority students who want to enter the fields of chemistry or chemistry-related fields. Awards of up to $5,000* are given to qualified applicants based on academic standing, financial need, career objective, leadership skills, and involvement in school activities and community service.

WIGA Scholarships

  • A great scholarship with a 33% acceptance rate.

Accenture American Indian Scholarship Fund

  • Accenture Scholars: Three undergraduate scholarships, of $20,000 each (each award at $5,000 per year for four years), will be awarded to students pursuing a four-year degree Accenture Fellows: Two graduate scholarships, of $15,000 each (each award at $7,500 per year for two years), will be awarded to students pursuing an master’s or doctorate degree Finalist Scholarship: Two undergraduate scholarships, of $8,000 each (each award at $2,000 per year for four years) and two graduate scholarships, of $5,000 each (each award at $2,500 per year for two years).
