• Pre-engineering scholarship for minority groups (African Americans).

The Sallie Mae fund

• For students with financial need. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, with a minimum 2.5 GPA, and enrolled full time in college. Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000.

National Association of Black Journalists

• Short list of scholarships for students pursuing careers in journalism.

The American Political Science Association

International Association of Black Actuaries

Hewlett-Packard Scholars

William Orr Dingwall foundation

• Students of Korean ancestry (and a limited number of exceptional students of other Asian ancestry) who are pursuing degrees in any subject at a well-established and accredited college or university located in the United States.

Asian Reporter Foundation

• A foundation establishing over $7000 in scholarships to those who qualify and apply.

Asian American Foundation of Oregon scholarships

• Student must be enrolled at U of O, have at least one letter of recommendation, a 250 word essay on Asian American plans and interests, and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.

National Organization for Women Poster Contest
