Cancer Survivors’ Fund Scholarship
- The applicant must be a cancer survivor or currently diagnosed with cancer, and does not have to be receiving treatment to qualify.
Sunshine Lady Foundation
- Female survivor of domestic violence (partner abuse), demonstrate financial need, and is sponsored by a domestic violence agency or service.
John Bennet Saviano Educational Grant
- Student must be a burn survivor, 18 years or older, have financial need, and must take at least 4 credit hours and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Mesothelioma Memorial Scholarship
- A $500 scholarship is offered every 3 months.

- Must be a Laneco Federal Credit member or affiliate to apply for this scholarship.

The Oregon Community Foundation St. Andrew’s Society Scholarship
- The award will be made on the basis of scholastic ability and financial need. School and community involvement will also be considered.
AFSA Scholarship Contest
- Read the essay allocated by the site, fill out the registration, and take a 10 question open-book test.
Alcoa Foundation Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program
- Applicants who plan to complete their education at a 2-year community college, technical, or trade school should apply for the 2-year award. Applicants who plan to attend a 4-year institution should apply for the 4-year award. Must be a child of an Alcoa employee.
Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship
- One $1,000 scholarship to men and women graduating from high school, who plan to pursue a career in a medically related field in a hospital setting.
Knight Ridder Merit Scholarship Program
- Renewable award for high school students who are sons or daughters of employees of Knight Ridder or its subsidiaries. Must take the SAT test.
National Merit Scholarship
- Achievement Scholarships are awarded to African-American high school seniors selected by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation based on SAT test, leadership qualities, academic performance, and personal achievement.
Ron Brown Scholar Program
- Applicants must excel academically, exhibit exceptional leadership potential, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need. Program seeks to identify African-American high school seniors who will make significant contributions to society.
Jackie Robinson Foundation’s Scholarship Program
- Provides scholarships of up to $7,500 annually to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.

Abbott & Fenner Consultants Scholarship
- The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. Must submit an essay between 500 and 1000 words.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship Program
- Offer scholarships to students in financial need who have demonstrated academic achievement and community involvement.

- Three scholarships are offered through this site with different qualifications for each.
Burger King Scholars Program
- Applicant must be a senior student in a public, private, vocational, technical, parochial, or alternative high school, hold at least a 2.5 GPA, work no less than 15 hours per week, demonstrate financial need, and participate in community service.
Patrick and Olivia McCurdy Scholarship
- Offered to students that have shown improvement academically since freshman year, plans to attend a vocational school, community college, or university, and is getting federal financial assistance for school. Applicant must also type an essay no more than 500 words.
AJM Scholarships
- The mission of America's Junior Miss (AJM) is to empower outstanding high school women by providing scholarship opportunities, developing life skills, and encouraging positive values.
Discover Scholarship Program
- High school juniors are eligible if they hold at least a 2.75 GPA and demonstrate community or school involvement.
Anne Ford Scholarship
- Student must have a documented learning disability and carry a 3.0 GPA. There are also more scholarships available to low-income students from this site as well.
National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Scholarship
- Applicant must be a first-time freshman college student, and be planning or majoring in culinary arts, restaurant management, or food service-related field.
Wal-Mart Foundation Scholarships
- A wide variety of scholarships are offered through this site with different qualifications for each.
Oregon Agricultural Education Foundation Scholarships
- Offers two scholarships for Oregon high school graduates attending a junior college or a four-year college or university, with plans to pursue a career in the agriculture industry.
Oregon Women for Agriculture Scholarship
- Two $500 scholarships are offered to women planning to study in the agriculture field.
Minority/Disadvantaged Scholarship American Architectural Foundation
- Freshmen who plan to study architecture in an NAAB-accredited program. Twenty awards per year are made and are renewable for two years. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

- A wide variety of scholarships are offered through this site with different qualifications for each.
American Chemical Society Scholarships
- For qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, and students seeking a two-year degree in chemical technology. The programs are designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and American Indian students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences and chemical technology.

- Toyota Community Scholars are recognized for their academic excellence, leadership and commitment to community service.
Ron Brown Scholarship Program
- The Ron Brown Scholar Program seeks to identify African-American high school seniors that excel academically, exhibit exceptional leadership potential, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need. Current college students are not eligible.
America’s First Freedom Student Competition
- To be eligible, students must request competition sponsorship from their Social Studies or English department teacher. This award is open to high school students grades 9-12. Student must submit an essay on the selected topic found on this site.
