• Projects in Development
  SLI projects in development are those which the SLI Leadership Team has agreed to sponsor during a period of time when the project is “incubating” and taking shape. We recognize that “innovative ideas” often begin with only a few individuals and that developing clear ideas of implementation take time. During the incubation period, project teams can receive funding for course reassignment for individual(s) to coordinate the work during the chartering process, as well as curriculum development funds for faculty members to design new courses (or adapt existing ones) to accommodate project goals.
   
• Mainstreamed Projects
  Mainstreamed projects are those which have demonstrated their value in enhancing the learning environment and no longer need incubation for development. These projects are mainstreamed when recurring budgets are awarded to sustain them.
   
• Past Projects
  Past projects are SLI incubated projects that have been completed, redirected to other projects, or which are no longer active.
