Culinary Adventuring classes begin April 2

EUGENE, OR - Six Culinary Adventuring classes begin next week at Lane Community College for students and the public:

  • At Your Service, skill-building for food and beverage workers or those seeking employment, April 2-June 4;
  • Guest Chef Series, lessons with local chefs in Lane's state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen for the serious home cook, professionals, and those thinking of a culinary career, April 2-June 4;
  • Composition of Cake, baking and decorating, April 3-June 5;
  • Oregon Wine Country with Willamette Valley winemakers including food and wine tastings, April 4-June 6;
  • Rise and Shine Artisan Breads, baking with classic European pastry chef Peter Lohr, April 4-May 3;
  • Seasonal Baking and Pastry, using regional cuisine and local produce, April 5-June 7.

Registration is open. Students need not be enrolled in the culinary program. New students may register at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/culinary and click on Culinary Adventuring. Returning students may register at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu and click on ExpressLane.
