Are you interested in joining the Lane Honors Program? Do you want to find out what it's all about?
This info session is geared towards prospective honors students and anyone on campus who would like to learn more about the Honors Program - everyone is welcome!
Honors Program directors Katie Morrison-Graham and Ce Rosenow and Honors Program coordinator Jennifer Hare will present an overview of the application, structure, requirements and benefits of the Honors Program and we'll have time for Q & A as well.

Reading Together 2011-12
Barry Lopez to visit LCC in October
Through the generosity of LCC Patron Jane Stevens King, the Reading Together project will host nationally recognized essayist fiction writer Barry Lopez for a campus visit Fall term, October 6 and 7. Lopez will present a public reading on Thursday evening, October 6, at 7:30 pm at the Center for Meeting and Learning. On Friday, October 7, he will meet with students for an informal Q&A and luncheon.
Lopez’s visit will kick-off the Reading Together calendar of events for 2011-12, focusing on the year’s RT book selection Vintage Lopez (2004), a collection of both short fiction and non-fiction essays that should appeal to a wide range of discipline interests. During Spring term 2012, the Reading Together project will host a college-wide exhibition to showcase the student work produced over the course of the year in response to Lopez’s writing.
