Preparing for Classes
Readiness for the first class day is extremely important, so you will want to be prepared. Make certain you show up to class on time. This seems simple enough but many have been late to class due to transportation and parking related issues. Several students plan on using the LTD bus system for the first couple of weeks, if not for the entire term. You’ll be paying for the LTD bus pass as part of your fees each term, so you might want to take advantage of what you already paid for.
Upon arrival to your class you should expect a general introduction to the goals of your class and review of the syllabus highlighting the learning objectives and assignments. Your instructor may begin lecture, assign readings, and homework. You’ll want to have your supplies such as a notebook and a writing instrument to capture important information shared by your instructor.
