Registration - Choosing Classes

Prior to building a schedule of classes we recommend you take a glance at your academic program in Lane's online catalog to identify courses required for degree/certificate completion or transfer to 4-yr colleges/universities.

Choosing inappropriate courses could cost you time and money. Make certain your choices meet your academic, career, and personal needs. Creating a well thought out success plan and sticking to it will get you off to a good start!

Once you think you’re ready to put together a list of classes, download and print the Student Registration Worksheet *(.pdf). Then, go online and search for specific courses using the Schedule of Classes

For each course of interest you can write down critical information such as:

  • Course Reference Number (CRN#)
  • Course title
  • Day/Time of class
  • Location of classroom
  • Instructor name

Gathering detailed information for each course will help you better prepare for your first week of classes. This will also help you when you purchase your books at the Titan Store (bookstore).
