Registration - Dropping unwanted classes

If you decide that you don’t want to take a class after registering for it, you MUST drop the class by using myLane. By dropping an unwanted class prior to the refund deadline you will not be charged for it. In college, adjusting your schedule is a personal responsibility.

Special Note: DO NOT assume that your instructor will withdraw or drop you from the course(s) should you not attend class. Many students have compromised their academic goals and financial aid status by failing or not passing a course. This can cause major problems with your GPA, financial aid, and future academic status.

Student Success Tip: Be cautious about registering for two or more classes in a row. You might need to go to the library, access tutoring, or just catch a bite to eat.
