Spaces are limited. We are not able to accommodate additional participants once the class fills. If you have questions about the course, please contact the Counseling Department or (541) 463-3200.
STEP 2 - Submit an Appeal to Reinstate. Forms are available online at: 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/finaid/forms.
- On the first page of the appeal form, check the fourth box that reads, “I explained the circumstances. . . ”.
- On the second page of the appeal form, answer both questions. When describing the steps you are taking to ensure your future academic success, specify you are taking Back On Course and explain how you believe this course will help you.
- Submit your appeal as soon as possible. Appeals are reviewed in the order received. We recommend you return your appeal before the first day of classes for a timely response.
STEP 3 - Verify your Financial Aid Academic Progress status by checking your myLane account before the refund deadline. The last day to drop with a refund for winter term 2012 is January 15th at 11:59 p.m. If your status is:
- FA Suspension – your appeal has not been reviewed. You need to decide if you can afford to pay for your classes in the event your appeal is not approved, or withdraw by the refund deadline.
- Appeal Pending – additional information is needed before your appeal can be processed. You need to decide if you can afford to pay for your classes if your appeal is not approved, or withdraw by the refund deadline.
- Appeal Denied – you need to either withdraw from your classes by the refund deadline or pay for them using your own funds.
- Appeal Approved on Probation – your FA Suspension is resolved. You are eligible for aid.
