Business Department - Cooperative Education (Co-op Internships)

Co-op internships give students real-world job experience that enables them to hone their skills before they enter the job market. This opportunity also gives businesses in the community a chance to train and get to know students that they may potentially want to hire.

Three credits (108 hours) of co-op internship is required for all 2 year Business degrees and encouraged for all other Business students.  You may be eligible to earn credit for a job you already have if it is related to your career goals or area of study.

Please contact Jamie Kelsch the term before you plan to do your co-op internship.

If you or your business would like to know more about the opportunities of cooperative education through Lane Community College, please contact Jamie Kelsch or check out the Cooperative Education website at http://2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/cooped/empinfo.htm.
