Congressman DeFazio helps secure $330,000 for Lane

The federal omnibus spending bill signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 11, 2009, includes $330,000 for Lane Community College for nursing labs and equipment. Congressman Peter DeFazio worked for the appropriation over the past year.
Last month DeFazio met with Lane officials attending a summit of the Association of Community College Trustees and American Association of Community College in Washington D.C.
