LCC Nov. 16 board meeting to be preceded by reception for Mary Spilde
EUGENE, Or - The Lane Community College Board of Education will hold a reception honoring President Mary Spilde on Wednesday, November 16, from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, Room 104, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene.
Spilde recently received the 2011 CEO of the Year award from the Association of Community College Trustees. She was selected from five regional award winners nominated from among the 1,200 community colleges in the U.S., Canada, and other countries served by ACCT.
The reception is open to students, faculty, staff and the public.
Following the reception, the board will meet in Executive Session at 5:30 p.m. under ORS 192.660(1)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations; and ORS 192.660(1)(h), Legal Counsel and ORS 192.660(1)(e), Real Property Transactions
