Saturday, April 30 is Take Back Day for unwanted prescription drugs
EUGENE, OR - Lane Community College will collect expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Take Back Day.
Medications may be brought to the lobby of the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene. Map and directions are online at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/center/directions/lane.htm#map
Prescription drugs will be accepted, except for chemotherapy drugs or sharps. All liquids should be tightly closed. Lane Public Safety and Health Clinic staff will turn over collected medications to the DEA for responsible disposal.
The event is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
