Culinary and hospitality students win Best Bite Award

EUGENE, OR - The Best Bite Award for "Presentation and Hospitality" was given for a second time to students from the Lane Community College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management program at the 21st Annual Chefs' Night Out held at the Hult Center on Tuesday, April 5. Sixty vendors from favorite local restaurants, caterers, wineries and microbreweries were a part of the festivities, in which 100 percent of the ticket sale proceeds were donated to FOOD for Lane County. Lane's booth featured house-made lamb sausages cooked on a Himalayan salt block and house-cured salumi served on mini-biscuits.
