Six citizens file for LCC board

EUGENE, OR - Six citizens have filed to run for election to the Lane Community College Board of Education. The board has four seats open.

Running unopposed for Zone 2 representing North Eugene, Coburg, Harrisburg and Junction City is Robert Ackerman.

Unopposed for Zone 5 representing Central Eugene is Pat Albright.

Running for Position 6-At Large representing the entire district are William Gehling and Rosie Pryor.

Running for Position 7 At-Large representing the entire district are Tony McCown and Doug Nelson.

Candidate applications can be downloaded from the Lane County Elections website at www.lanecounty.org/elections

Candidates for zoned positions must live within the zone. However, all voters in the district vote on all board positions. The election is May 17.
