African American Parent and Family Conference at LCC March 5

EUGENE, OR - The Fourth Annual African American Parent and Family Conference under the theme "Close the Achievement Gap" will be held at Lane Community College on Saturday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene. Admission is free. Parents, families, friends, allies and supporters of African American students are welcome to attend.
Sponsors are NAACP Eugene/Springfield Branch, Bethel School District No. 52, Eugene School District 4j, Springfield School District 19, Lane Community College Office of Student Life and Leadership, Committed Partners for Youth, Big Brother Big Sister of Lane County, Lane Educational Service District, and Lane County Department of Youth Services.
