Will LCC Titans score 84th home game win on Saturday?
EUGENE, OR – The Lane Community College women Titans basketball team will again defend its national home game win record when they face Clackamas Community College for the annual Jam the Gym night on Saturday, January 29.
The Titan's winning streak is up to 83 games, with no loss at home since 2002.
To pack the court for Jam the Gym, Lane Athletics will give a free Titans T-shirt, sponsored by Bi-Mart, to the first 500 fans to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for Food for Lane County collection bins.
The game begins at 4 p.m. in the gym, building 5, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene.
The Titans have won three Northwest Athletic Association of Community College championships, in 2006, 2007 and 2009, and five Southern Region titles, in 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
Head Coach Greg Sheley is in his 12th season at Lane and holds the college's best win record for women's basketball.
