Lane Community College announces End-of-Fall Term student concerts
All performances at the Performance Hall, Main Campus 4000 E. 30th Eugene, OR. Tickets for all performances are $5 for general admission, $3 for students and seniors. Tickets are available online at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/tickets or at the door.
Performances, dates, times and program information are as follows:
Sunday, Nov. 21 matinee at 3pm
The Lane Chamber Orchestra and the Lane Symphonic Band
The Chamber Orchestra performs selections by Schubert and Schumann; the Symphonic Band presents the Overture: Barber of Seville and compositions from Jan Van der Roost, Percy Grainger and George Gershwin.Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 7:30pm
The Lane Symphonic Band and the Lane Faculty Jazz Sextet
The Symphonic Band reprises the Sunday matinee program of Overture: Barber of Seville and compositions from Jan Van der Roost, Percy Grainger and George Gershwin. The Lane Faculty Jazz Sextet presents a program of Jazz favorites.Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 3:43pm
The Lane Gospel Choir
In the final 3:43 concert of the year, the ever-popular, Lane Gospel Choir presents a program of inspirational music with a down-home touch.Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7:30pm
Spectrum Vocal Jazz
The Lane Chamber Choir
The Lane Concert Choir
Spectrum Jazz performs blues to Basie, with stops at Camelot and a Frank Sinatra tune!
The Chamber Choir performs a selection of traditional European carols.
The Concert Choir program deals with everything from the campus smoking ban to their efforts to learn to sing solfege!

The Lane Jazz Ensemble
The Jazz Ensemble presents a program of classic and contemporary jazz, a perfect way to wind down the week and wind up the weekend.
