The Age of Heroes by Eric Fracassi |
ERIC FRACASSI "SATURDAYS AND SOME DAYS" OPENS OCTOBER 25TH
RECEPTION 10/28, 4-5PM
LANE ART GALLERY, BLDG 11, MAIN CAMPUS
EUGENE, OR – The Lane Community College Art Gallery is proud to the exhibition, Saturdays and Some Days by Michigan artist, Eric Fracassi. The exhibition is a recent body of work from Eric's ongoing "Recollection Series".
When asked to describe his work, Fracassi stated:
This work considers new relationships between the fluidity of a memory and the static images that are created in the final piece. Childhood beliefs are explored through words, characters and images, and ultimately are exposed to new sensibilities.
The show runs from October 25th through November 11th. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 28th, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. The gallery is located in building 11 on main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue. There is no charge for admission. The Art and Applied Design Department phone number is 463-5409.
