News from Lane Community College

LCC hosts annual college fair Oct. 3
EUGENE, OR - The 2010 Mid-Willamette College Fair will be held at the Lane Community College gymnasium (Building 5), main campus in Eugene, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, on Sunday, Oct. 3 from 12-3 p.m. Nearly 80 colleges and universities from across the United States will be on hand to share information with prospective students and their families from across Lane County. Anyone interested in a future in higher education may attend, and no sign ups or preregistration is required.
Students may drop in anytime during the fair and meet with representatives who can answer questions related to student housing, on-campus involvement, programs of study and cost of attendance. Additionally, workshops on the college admissions process and financial aid and scholarships will be held. All high school seniors who attend can enter to win a $500 scholarship that will be awarded upon enrollment at a college or university after high school.
