Testimonials from past SOS participants in Lane County communities (there is no better resource to determine the value of the program than from the participants themselves):

Testimonials - Fern Ridge Strategies of Success

"My business advisor helped me to develop a sales and marketing plan which has been instrumental in developing a path to move toward my goals. She also helped me turn goals into actions." Karen Sharkey, Karen Totes

"Recognizing The Presence of angels around you can feel like walking from the shadows into the warmth of sunshine. Suddenly you feel the nourishment that comes from someone taking the time to look out just for you and you alone.' That's my feeling about your [SOS] class and advising and I am sticking to them." Rich Reich, Window Coverings Done Right!

"A great resource and training at an exceptional price." Gina Haley-Morrell, Curves

"Strategies of Success provides resources for both new and long existing businesses." Tabitha Eck, Our Daily Bread

"This class has been a priceless piece of my business growth. The information, the contacts, and the community were wonderful!" Julie Brooks, Brooks Brush Clearing

"I never wanted to miss a class as there is always new information." Robbie McCoy, Robbie’s Window Box Caffé

Testimonials – Cottage Grove Strategies of Success

"The class and the individual advising I’ve received from the instructor have inspired me to think about and approach my business differently. As a result, I've taken actions, one which immediately proved to be profitable (a $2,500 deal) by expanding my market. Any business can benefit from the time and minimal investment in this class." Jay Waldron, Glenwood Auto

"I got things done in five months that I hadn't accomplished in the past seven years. I feel strongly that attending the class and having the one on one sessions [with the instructor] inspired me to step back from my day to day tasks and work more on my business versus in my business." Mindy Roberts, Shoestrings

"I'm an avid fan of the Business Strategies of Success program. Multiple suggestions from the class instructor have already proven to benefit my business. I have developed a marketing plan and am being much more proactive in seeking new clients and am actively implementing new strategies outlined to accomplish my goals. I've also brought on board a student intern who can learn about catering while assisting me in my business. I'm strides ahead of where I was when I started the program." Judd Van Gorder, Carousel House

"The cost of the class was very reasonable and the benefits I have received have
been worth substantially more than the actual cost of the tuition. The individual counseling and mentoring provided monthly has been a great help to me." Julia Morrill, Silk Creek Farm

"The value of the class is exceptional. When you take away any one idea that improves your business it pays for itself! The advising with the instructor is a huge bonus. The feedback regarding business strategies has been excellent." Tim Wilson, Universal Trucking

"The instructor has done a great job creating a fun and comfortable environment for all of us. It was great to attend the class and then be able to sit down one on one with the instructor and take what we have learned and then tailor it to my particular business. This has been invaluable! I would recommend this class to all new business owners as well as existing businesses that wish to gain some fresh ideas and tools for fine tuning their business." Karina Cross, The Glass Muse
