The Works Dance Concert Opens May 20th
The Works, Lane Community College's annual spring dance concert choreographed and performed by LCC dance students runs Thursday through Saturday May 20-22 at 8:00 pm on the Main Stage at Lane Community College 4000 E. 30th Ave. in Eugene.
The 2010 edition of The Works concert features 13 original choreographic works including collaborations with musicians and spoken-word artists. Dance genres include modern dance, performance art, accapella tap, jazz and hip hop. In preparation for this concert, LCC dance students take a year long series of courses in dance improvisation, solo composition, and group choreography. The talent, imagination and diversity of these dance students makes The Works one of Lane's most popular concerts!
Advance Tickets for The Works are available through Lane's Online Box Office at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/tickets. Credit cards and debit cards are accepted online.
Tickets will also be available at the door approximately one hour before the concert. Cash or checks only at the door please! tickets are $10 general admission and only $5 with ID for students, seniors and Lane Staff.
