Eugene, Or - The first ever Lane Stage Door Jazz Cafe held Sunday afternoon, May 2, backstage in the Performance Hall of Lane Community College was so successful that director Ron Bertucci has moved the May 12 Faculty Jazz concert from the concert hall to the Stage Door Jazz Cafe.
The Stage Door Jazz Cafe was designed to provide a relaxing, casual atmosphere in which Jazz lovers could enjoy the music in a cafe setting, complete with light eats and beverages. The inaugural concert was extremely popular, so much so that the format will continue with coming jazz events.
