News from Lane Community College Performing Arts

The Lane Stage Door Jazz Cafe open at Lane for one afternoon only, Sunday May 2 from 2pm to 5pm.
This is a new event for Lane! The curtain will be pulled on the main stage and the stage will be set up as a coffee house with rotating jazz combos playing from open to close. The public is invited to drop in for coffee and light eats at their leisure and enjoy the real back stage, "show business" atmosphere! The event is hosted by the Lane Jazz Ensemble. Entertainment will provided by the Lane Jazz Combo, the Lane Faculty Jazz Combo, and small Jazz combos from area high schools.
The Stage Door Jazz Cafe can be reached by parking in the north lot at 30th and Eldon Shafer. Follow the signs to the rear entrance of the Performing Arts building.
The Stage Door Jazz Cafe is just inside the door on the left.
Admission is free, but cash or check donations will be appreciated! All proceeds benefit the Lane Community College Jazz Program.
