LCC wins national marketing awards
EUGENE, OR - Lane Community College won gold, silver and bronze awards in the prestigious Paragon Awards sponsored by the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, an affiliate of the American Association for Community Colleges. The awards were announced at the council's annual conference last month. This is the only national competition exclusively recognizing marketing and public relations work at two-year colleges.
The Gold Paragon was for a single print ad and the silver was for an ad series. The bronze was for computer-generated illustration. Lane was the only Oregon college to win a gold, and one of only three Oregon colleges to win awards.
Tracy Simms directs marketing at Lane and developed the ads and the "Achieving Dreams" campaign with assistance from Funk/Levis & Associates. The designer was Lada Korol, a graduate of Lane’s graphic design program.
Lane is an equal opportunity/affirmative action institution.
