Trombonist Ron Bertucci to Headline LCC Faculty Concert Feb. 11th @ 7:30pm!

Join us as Music Faculty Lead and Jazz Program Director Ron Bertucci performs recital of concert pieces for trombone and accompanists, followed by a smooth selection of Jazz standards.
Bertucci has just completed 6 month sabbatical, studying with leading artists around the country. His Lane Community College Jazz Ensemble and Combos are award-winners at music festivals through the west. Ron is also co-founder and director of the annual Oregon Jazz Festival, which allows high school and middle school students from around Oregon to study with some of the nation’s leading jazz artists
The Concert Pieces for Trombone include:
Sonata (Vox Gabrieli) by Stjepan Sulek (1914-1986)
and
Sonatina for Trombone and Piano by Jacques Castéréde

Andante sostenuto

The classical portion of the program will be followed by Bertucci and the Faculty Jazz Quintet jamming to a selection of jazz standards including:

Tickets are $10 for Adults and $ 8 for Students and Seniors and are available at lanecc.edu/tickets or at the door 45 minutes before the performance.
