Will the Lane Titans get a 72nd consecutive home game win?
EUGENE, OR – The best home-game winning streak in national college basketball is on the line Wednesday when the Lane Community College women’s team hosts Lower Columbia College.
The game starts at 6 p.m. on December 9 in the building 5 gym, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene.
The Titans have won 71 home games in a row over the last seven years. They’ve also won three championships in the last four years in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges. Head Coach Greg Sheley has been named NWAACC Coach of the Year three times.
"We are excited and ready for this challenge ahead of us,” says Sheley. “Lower Columbia is a quality opponent and a well coached team. We will have to be ready to play at a high level if we want to make it 72 in a row."
