Lane Community College's Voice Music Faculty members Siri Vik, Soprano; Laura Decher Wayte, Soprano; and Gene Chin, Baritone, in collaboration with other music faculty, will perform a program of Chamber Music in the Performance Hall on Lane's main campus on October 29, 2009. The concert begins at 7:30pm.
Featured composers include J.S.Bach, Charles Gounod, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Franz Schubert, Andre Previn, and Eugene’s own Lawrence Wayte, Executive Director of the Oregon Mozart Players. This is the U.S. premier of Mr. Wayte’s piece; entitled Come, Spirit which was originally premiered in Amsterdam in 2000.
The October 29th concert will be the only performance. Tickets are $10 General Admission, $8 for students. Proceeds fund Lane Music Scholarships. Tickets can be purchased in advance through our on-line box office at lanecc.edu/tickets or at the door.
