LCC TO HOST MID-WILLAMETTE COLLEGE FAIR
Eugene, Ore. - Lane County high school students and their families are invited to attend the 2009 Mid-Willamette College Fair on Sunday, Oct. 11 at Lane Community College. The annual fair will be held in the gym (Building 5) on main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, from 12 to 3 p.m.
Colleges and universities from across the country will send representatives to meet with prospective students and provide information about their institutions. Commonly discussed information includes admissions policies, financial aid, academic program offerings, scholarships, campus housing and student support resources.
During the fair, workshops on paying for college and undergraduate admissions will be held. Also, high school seniors who attend can enter to win a scholarship for use during their first year in higher education.
