BEFORE YOU PLUNGE INTO ENDLESS SUMMER, SOAR INTO COLLEGE
Eugene, Ore. - Enrollment increases at Lane Community College could reduce choices for first-time credit students this fall, except those who sign up now for SOAR, Student Orientation and Registration. These four-hour sessions introduce new students to campus, connect them with an advisor, explain financial aid, and best of all—let students register early to get the classes they want.
"This is the insider’s secret to success," says Helen Garrett, associate dean of student affairs at Lane. "This is the best way to get the classes you need. Don't wait for general fall registration to open."
SOAR sessions will be held August 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, and September 1 and 2. Students can register to attend a SOAR session by going online at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/counseling/
