LCC ART GALLERY PRESENTS EXHIBIT, UNTIL NOW
MAY 4-21
EUGENE, OR - The Lane Community College Art Gallery is proud to present Until Now, an exhibition featuring sculptor Amelia Beiderwell and ceramic artist Stacy Jo Scott, from May 4 through 21. There will be a lecture and reception on Thursday, May 14 at 3 p.m. in the gallery.
When asked what she creates within her work, Beiderwell says, "making creates language within the relationship of form and its audience by capturing a moment and suspending it in time."
Scott describes her work as "both functional and sculptural ceramic practice." She explores layers of meaning and narrative. "I relate imagery though surface drawings from my own experience in the iconic and disjointed schema of memory or dream."
The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. The gallery is located in building 11 on main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue. For more information call the Art and Applied Design Department at (541) 463-5409.
