Thirteen Lane dance students present thirteen inspired choreography compositions in THE WORKS, opening May 14th @ 8pm in the Performance Hall at Lane Community College.
These original dances are part of the students’ choreography class series, which includes Dance Improvisation, Solo Composition and Group Choreography. Many of Lane’s students go on to study in prestigious dance programs at schools such as the Cornish Institute of the Arts, Mills College, the Naropa Institute and the University of Oregon before taking their places as dancers and choreographers in communities around the world.
The Works Student Dance Concert runs for three evenings, May 14-16. Curtain is at 8:00pm. The house opens at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors (55 and over). Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/tickets.
