LCC CAREER FAIR BRINGS EMPLOYERS TO STUDENTS
Eugene, Ore. - Call it speed interviewing, when hundreds of job hunters and dozens of employment recruiters talk face-to-face in one room for four hours. Sometimes, that’s enough to get your foot in the door.
Lane’s Annual Career Fair offers students, alums and the public an opportunity to speed interview or visit with employers from business, industry, government, and nonprofits. The Fair will be held Wednesday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning, main campus in Eugene, 4000 E. 30th Avenue. It’s free.
“Plan to come job-ready,” says Lori Kramer, career and employment advisor. Dress as you would for a job interview. Learn about the company you’re interested in, and be prepared with questions. Bring your resume.
The popular event benefits students and employers, Kramer says. “I have a lot of the same employers who come back every year.”
For more information about the Career Fair, contact Lori Kramer at (541) 463-5859 or kramerl@lanecc.edu.
Lane is an equal opportunity/affirmative action institution.
