HOW TO PAY FOR COLLEGE IN ONE DAY
EUGENE, OR - Lane Community College will hold its annual Scholarship Workshops in conjunction with College Goal Oregon on Saturday, January 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, LCC main campus in Eugene, 4000 E. 30th Avenue.
The event offers resources and strategies for finding college scholarships, tips on writing write quality essays and applications, and how to complete the Oregon Student Assistance Commission scholarship application process. Financial aid professionals will provide assistance in completing the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Applicants should bring their 2008 tax and financial records.
Sponsors include Roehl & Sittner Investment Advisors LLC, Higher One, Lane Community College Foundation, and College Goal Sunday.
This year, one of the workshops will be presented in Spanish.
