News from the Senior Companion Program at Lane Community College

RECRUITING SENIOR COMPANIONS
EUGENE, OR - The federal Senior Companion Program provides a tax-free hourly stipend to low-income adults age 60 or older to provide one-on-one outreach to frail, elderly and disabled adults for 15 or more hours per week. Companions serve through senior organizations in Lane County, which are responsible for all client selection. Pre-training and ongoing support are provided.
