LCC TO HOST ANNUAL COLLEGE FAIR FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND FAMILIES
Eugene, Ore. - All high school students and their families are encouraged to attend the 2008 Mid-Willamette College Fair on Sunday, Oct. 26 at Lane Community College. The fair will be held in the main gym (Building 5) on main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, from 12 to 3 p.m. Nearly 100 colleges and universities from across the country will send representatives to meet with prospective students and provide information about their institutions. Commonly discussed information includes admissions, entrance policies, financial aid, scholarships, campus housing, and student support resources.
In addition to the fair, two workshops on paying for college and undergraduate admissions will be held, and high school seniors who attend can enter to win a scholarship for use during their first year of college.
