Lane's Honor Society Alum Gather for 40th Anniversary Celebration
Eugene, Ore. - Lane Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Sigma Zeta, is holding its 40th anniversary reunion on Friday, September 12, from 1-5 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning on Lane’s main campus.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for chapter alumni to reconnect with their Phi Theta Kappa chapter," says chapter advisor Velda Arnaud (pronounced (AR-no).
Arnaud says activities will include:
- Tours of the sustainability efforts on campus
- Tours of the tunnels below the campus
- Tours of the Native American Longhouse (under construction) and several other sites at Lane
- A networking reception for former students and faculty with snacks and beverages
