SPILDE NAMED CHAIR-ELECT OF NATIONAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE ASSOCIATION BOARD
Eugene, Ore. - Dr. Mary Spilde, president of Lane Community College, was named chair-elect of the American Association of Community Colleges board effective July 1. AACC advocates for more than 1,200 two-year colleges enrolling more than 12 million students - almost half of all U.S. undergraduates. Spilde has served on the AACC board since 2006. She was named president of Lane Community College in 2001.
